Some things have to be believed to be seen. ~ Ralph Hodgson
I live near the beach and have the wonderful choice of stopping by each day to see the sky, feel the wind and hear the surf roll over the sand. It is paradise, even on the cold, blustery days and especially on those warm sunny days when the breeze is balmy, the surf is gentle and the sun is warm on your face.
I am grateful for the living; for the chance to walk each day along the shore and listen to the birds calling, watch the pelicans diving from on high and calm my mind. There is a new perspective after walking the beach, the endless lists of gifts to buy, the stressful schedule, the crowded stores, they fall away and leave the peace of gratitude behind. I listen to the inner voice, the loving grateful voice that reminds me of the many blessings in my life. Health, family, friends and work all are mine, to cherish and rejoice.
Serenity restored it’s time to return but oh how thankful I am, the cure for the Bah Humbugs is found and it is good.
